Durability Moderately durable. Susceptible to insect (woodworm) attack and moderately resistant to fungi and termites.
Technological properties • Workability: soft wood, works with moderate ease with both mechanical and manual equipment. • Seasoning: Cordia Wood dries quickly and warping and splinting is not common. Therefore either kiln or air-drying is easy. • Finish: excellent paint, lacquer and polishing finish. • Gluing: satisfactory with all kinds of glue.
